Distance
Occasionally, we organize a ride on paved bike paths in the area. Typically, we will ride around one of the lakes (Lake Como, Lake Harriet, etc.). Keep an eye on the calendar in case of bad weather.

Trials
Trials is a unicycling discipline that involves hopping up and down obstacles and riding across skinnies (thin obstacles requiring more controlled, steady riding). Despite how difficult it sounds, trials can be very approachable once you’ve learned the basics of unicycling. Newer riders can practice challenges like riding down curbs or hopping up shallow stairs as part of trials. Keep an eye on the calendar in case of bad weather.

- Smaller trials obstacles may also be available at open gyms
Street
Street unicycling is a discipline typically done at skateparks. Street riding involves performing tricks with the help of obstacles in your environment, such as sliding/grinding across rails and ledges. It’s recommended that you learn how to hop before attending street practices. Keep an eye on the calendar in case of bad weather.
